An Important Update about Bailey’s Floor Care

Following on from the Governments announcement on the 10th May 2020 – Bailey’s Floor Care is back open for business!  Which, we hope you agree, is brilliant news!  We have survived hibernation and we’ve taken the tentative steps to bring some of our staff off furlough to serve our clients growing requests for our services.  It’s going to be a difficult couple of months but we hope that with our clients’ help we’ll be able to re-instate all of our team back to full-time employment as soon as we can.

We also have a quick update on our Virus and Bacteria Eliminator Spray/Hand Sanitiser that we were giving away.  We are delighted to tell you that we have sent out 74 bottles so far – completely free of charge – to help those of our customers who are more vulnerable at the current time.

We’re Back Open For Business

It seems that it’s not just the hairdressers that are needed after our homes have been used as classrooms, offices, gyms, playgrounds etc.  Thankfully, our phone has been increasingly busy over the last couple of weeks, however, procuring PPE has, understandably, been an issue for us but we now have ample stock to keep both you and our team safe.

So how can we keep you safe whilst working in your home? We have implemented a Safe Working Policy that will keep both you and our team safe whilst we work in your home. We will be closely adhering to government guidelines and as a result, the following will apply:

1. We’ll be wearing the appropriate PPE when we arrive. We have facemasks, face shields, disposable gloves and, of course, overshoes.
2. We will maintain the 2m social distancing. Once you’ve let us in, you can leave us to it while you get on with your day.
3. As much as we love a good cup of tea and a biscuit, we cannot accept any refreshments from yourselves at this time.
4. If we need to use your bathroom, we will use our own paper towel and also wipe surfaces down afterwards.
5. Our team will remove and dispose of their PPE and wash their hands after every job (using their own water, soap & paper towels).
