Driveway Cleaning Service

If you’re looking for professional driveway cleaning services… you’ve come to the right place!

At Bailey’s Floor Care, we’ve been providing driveway cleaning services in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire for more than 15 years now. Using commercial pressure washing cleaning equipment that has been specifically designed to remove years of grime and weathering, we can restore the ‘just laid’ look back to your drive.

You’ll be surprised what difference having your driveway cleaned will make to the appearance of your garden. Pressure washing your driveway will remove years of built up grime, moss, algae weeds and dirt revealing the natural colours of your driveway. Your driveway will be weed free without the use of strong weed killers.

We can clean most types of surfaces, including:

  •   Imprinted concrete
  •   Block paving
  •   Natural stone
  •   Crazy Paving
  •   Wooden Decking
  •   Paving Slabs
  •   Tarmac

Watch this short video below to find out how we cleaned, re-sanded and the sealed our clients block paved driveways. We restored the driveway to an almost like new finish.

Why have your drive cleaned? Well, believe it or not your driveway looked better when it was first installed than it does now… You may have inherited your drive or even paid to have it installed, either way it was a costly investment that is probably in need of a little TLC. How can you tell?

Simple… Here are 7 Things to look for when caring for your drive:

  • Can you see a difference from where your cars are parked and the rest of your drive?
  • Have you got weeds and moss growing between the blocks?
  • Is there green algae masking the true colours of your drive?
  • Have you got Lichen, which are white or black ‘spots’ growing on your drive surface?
  • Has your drive been cleaned before but not re-sanded?
  • Have some blocks become loose?
  • Can you see oil stains where the cars are normally parked?

The question is: how do you deal with these issues?

As a Leicestershire premier driveway and patio cleaning company, Bailey’s Floor Care have been cleaning driveways across Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Northampton, Coventry (inc Kenilworth and Leamington Spa) for many years and have learned that there’s more to it than just using a domestic pressure washer.

Our driveway cleaning services are pet and plant friendly – we don’t use any chemicals when cleaning your drive (unless you have an oil stain, then we’ll need to use a safe detergent based product to try to remove the oil stain from your drive). We rely on the power of the pressure washer to do the work. We don’t use bleaches like other companies do to deal with stains.

After we’ve cleaned your driveway, it’ll need to be re-sanded to stabilise the blocks. You see, if done correctly, having your driveway cleaned by a professional driveway cleaning company will remove the sand from between the blocks, an important part of the process to ensure all the weeds and moss etc has been removed. If your driveway isn’t re-sanded using kiln-dried sand then over time the foundation of your driveway will become unstable as the rain starts washing it away! This is why it’s important to re-sand your driveway after it’s been professionally cleaned.

To finish off your driveway it should be sealed. The seal will protect your drive from oil stains and help prevent the growth of weeds as the seal will ‘harden’ the sand that’s between the joints helping to prevent germination from weeds and will resist moss from taking a hold but we all know that we’re fighting nature here and eventually she always wins!
