You can see that the seal that had been applied masked the true beauty of the Welsh Slate.
We set about removing the old seal through our cleaning process. Fortunately the builder had used ‘retail’ products, the type of products that can be purchased from your local tile shop, which made the removal very easy and straight forward. We spent considerable time scrubbing the grout lines, which was amazing – even for us!
After we had cleaned the floor we allowed it to dry over night before applying two coats of our colour enhancing, impregnating seal. This made the colours really stand out bringing the WOW factor back to the floor.
